The “Judith Kolberg Award”

FileHeads Professional Organizers is proud to announce the “Judith Kolberg Award” established on September 21, 2012 by the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD). The award, named after Judith Kolberg, who founded the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization (NSGCD), honors individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the field of chronic disorganization. The NSGCD was the precursor of the ICD founded 20 years ago.

“I was flabbergasted,” Kolberg quips. “I was presented with a lifetime membership which was awesome enough. But then to have an award named after you, something that goes on in perpetuity, I cannot express what an honor that is.” The first recipient of the Judith Kolberg award is Denslow Brown.
